Please visit my photography accounts, both here and on flickr. It is a huge passion of mine and is something I enjoy sharing with others. I am also trying to get my work out for all to see.
[link]Working hard for a dream
So I think most of you know I had to give up my horse Royal and it was seriously the hardest thing I ever had to do in my life. Its sad but I still get pretty depressed just thinking of it. Anyways a new horse has popped into my life. His name is Truffles and he was rescued from the feedlot. Right now he is in CBER's care. A group I don't know whither to trust or not but thats besides the point.
I plan on adopting this boy and giving him a good home. YAY right?! Yeah well with this dream comes MANY MANY hardships like the fact I am now out of job by the 9th. I'm working as a temp for Leviton and they just NOW (last monday) told me I'm out by the 9th. This wouldn't be a big issue except for the fact they told me the 31st. Leaving me time to find a job, etc. I am now scrambling to find something, anything to help pay for this horse, my car, and bills.
lol It gets better because I haven't actually told my husband (squeee its so weird/fun to say!). I had brought it up to him before but told me after bills were paid, etc. Truffles sort of landed in my lap. I just haven't gotten the courage to bring it up yet and I don't know how to. It works out in my mind just fine but when I actually go to speak NOTHING. lol Not good but I know I'll find a way!
I've vowed to myself that I will work as many jobs needed to take care of this horse while paying off bills, etc. I will do whatever it takes! I'm just hoping he'll understand my passion and what this means to me.
Wish me luck!!
Christmas Wishlist
THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.
STEP ONE
** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!
STEP TWO
** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Poppin Periramo Furururafu~!
That being said, if things work with you getting him thats awesome! Any horse out of their hands and into a good home is a lucky one. He looks VERY cute (under the dirt) and seems to move well. I would definitely have him vet checked though and looked over by your trainer, even if they say hes been vetted recently. Frequently CBER horses will arrive with "surprise" injuries or ailments not mentioned in the description. I don't think that CBER allows pre-purchase exams, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
I hope it will work out that you can get him!
PS: when did you get married?

The horse should cost me $100 to adopt, $150 to ship, and $250 to board. Which can all be paid off right the bat. I do have to deal with the vet but for the most part it will be about $300 a month to take care of him.
The only real thing getting in the way is the fact I've yet to tell my husband about the whole thing. EEP!!! NOT GOOD *hides face*
